  1. Mineral based makeup will also be more common place in 2010 as major brands expand their lines to include the hypoallergenic products. In addition mineral makeup formulations will also become more lightweight and easier to use based on advances in manufacturing and formulation. Certainly over the last few years we've seen mineral makeup evolve from 'loose formats' and heavy coverage to pressed formats, lightweight and more sophisticated products. Case in point, MAC's new mineralize foundation compact, Becca's new Boudoir Skin Mineral Powder Foundation, and Emani Mineral's duo concealer and powder compact.
