Playing Around with Pinks on Friday

I did not buy the MAC Pink Friday (Nicki Minaj) lipstick. I did not think it would be flattering on me.
I did not want to jump through hoops to order this item. I understand that as of today, it is still in stock on the MAC website. I wanted to use products in my arsenal to recreate the look.

I opted for flawless foundation,
soft cheeks and a neutral eyeshadow look pumped up with some lashes for drama.

Here is what I used.

FACE

Prime Korres Quercitin and Oak (Anti Ageing, Silicone Free)
Foundation - NARS Sheer Glow MACAO
Set with e.l.f. Clarifying Pressed Powder TONE 3 in tzone & TONE 4 for Contouring

EYES

Prime Urban Decay Primer
Base MAC Paint Pot SOFT OCHRE (mobile lid only)
Shadow Urban Decay NAKED palette
Highlight Coastal Scents 88 Palette H1
Transition - L'Oreal matte SUEDE BROWN
Crease BUCK
Mobile Lid NAKED and NYX single eyeshadow SKIN
Outer V HUSTLE
Liner - Wet N Wild H2O Liquid Liner EXTREME BLACK
Lashes - Sassi #747 M

CHEEKS

Base L'Oreal HiP Blendable Blushing Cream COQUETTE
Set e.l.f. Natural Radiance Blusher COY and SHY

LIPS

Prime - Korres Lip Butter GUAVA
Line - NK lip crayon ROSEBLOOM
Fill - NYX lipliner pencils ROSE and BARBIE PINK
Gradient dark to light, exterior to center of the lips.
I blended with my fingers.
The paleness of the blue based pinks was a bit much against my brown skin.
I muted it a bit with some Gloss. Maybelline Wet Shine Diamonds RHINESTONE PINK

I was truly inspired by my nail polish.
I used Wet N Wild TICKLED PINK Cream.
I also used Sinful Colors GLASS PINK and
PINK 4 EVER for accent colors.

These treo pictures really don't do the mani any justice.
Too much sun.

I'm not into labels, (really, I'm not!) *laughing*
I got these sunglasses from A.J. Wright for $2.99 on clearance. I bought them more for functionality than anything else. Whatever I can do to combat creasing around the corners of my eyes from squinting to avoid bright sunlight is a plus.
I never leave home without them.
Yes, I even wear them on overcast days.
I'm on my Hollywood Status. *laughs*

I love my nails at this length. I'm going to have to trim them soon.

You can probably see them better in this 4 minute video.
Did you know I have a cooking blog too?
