I love the thin brush.

I often make designs on my tweens' nails. It encourages them to continue to let them grow & discourages biting. When I used to work at the mall, I used to buy them a different book every week. Check out the Klutz Nail Art Book.

MAC COLOUR-CRAFT Mini-Haulage

Mineralize Eye Shadow spun into a stylish pinwheel pattern of four shades to provide contrasting and complementary colours in a range of glitter, pearl or shimmering mineralized finishes. Limited edition.
2.2 g / 0.07 US OZ
US $19.50

I picked up the Mineralized Eye Shadow Quad in NATURAL FLARE!
It's a winner! A lil' on the chunky side, so beware if you are not a fan of the "glitterific".

NATURAL FLARE swatches!

Advantages over dupes:
- The MAC e/s has longer staying power than any of the dupes. However if you use a good base & perhaps even a mixing medium to foil the colors, you may have a similiar effect.
- It is really convenient to have all 4 colors in 1 compact container.
Minerals are great for our skin & protect us from the harmful rays of the sun.

Short on Cash?
Consider these dupes...

Messy but the color is pretty close! $1.00 each!

MAC Dazzleglass vs. Drugstore Lipgloss

I was excited to receive a gift of MAC Love Alert Dazzleglass from my hubby.
Who needs flowers, right? LOL

I nearly DIED when I realized that the finished result could be achieved using a less expensive brand of makeup. Afterall, would anyone really be able to tell the difference?

The MAC Dazzleglass has a pleasant smell, that of vanilla.
The consistency is a little sticky. Not nearly as sticky as NARS!
(NARS has a tendency to GRAB your hair)
I found it necessary to reapply often to maintain the effect of the intensity & vibrancy of the dazzleglass.

Since my lips are quite pigmented, I know that I will have to stain my lips with another lip product or lay down a lip pencil to achieve the look I desire. Worn alone, the dazzleglass is pretty, but it doesn't scream FIYAH!

Other less expensive alternatives include...
L'Oreal GlamShine lipgloss $4-$10 (find 'em on ebay)
- PLUMPING diminishes base color over x
Maybelline Wetshine Diamonds Liquid $1.00
- (overall BEST staying power discontinued RUN to the dollar store!)
LA Colors moisturizing lip gloss $1.50 (sheer/too glittery)

CLICK ON IMAGE TO VIEW FULL SCREEN

$18 vs. $1.00 - A $17.00 savings.
The choice is yours.

Are you aware of any dupes for MAC Dazzleglass? Please share in the comment section.
Thank you.
