Make Up For Ever HD Elixir Review

HD Elixir

What it is:

An innovative serum that instantly hydrates and adds radiance to the skin.

What it does:

HD complexion collection uses innovative formulas to create a new generation of makeup that is invisible on high-definition cameras and to the naked eye. This unique, lightweight elixir absorbs quickly into the skin, instantly hydrating and brightening the complexion. The breakthrough formula contains D-Panthenol and Glycerin to ensure an immediate boost of hydration (+520% after 15 minutes) that lasts throughout the day (+175% after 6 hours). Argatensyl is added to provide an immediate smoothing effect. Each ingredient was specifically added to prepare skin for high- definition makeup—so you can count on the camera picking up the perks of this perfecting formula.

What else you need to know:
This product is oil and paraben free and dermatologist tested.

I purchased this product in the Spring of 2009.
I still have more than half a bottle left. I only use it on my problem areas.
How I wish I could sleep on my back like the characters did in Memoirs of a Geisha. Then I wouldn't have these pesky crepe-y lines on the sides of my nose, connected to my marionette lines.

I use this AFTER I tone, & BEFORE I moisturize & prime.
I give it a few minutes to absorb into my skin.

I do like the product.

PROS

- It does make my skin feel as soft as a baby's bottom.
- I found it works really well with the MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Primer.
I've also used it with Korres primer and MAC Skin Primer with equally favorable results.
- When I've used this product, I've received many compliments on my skin.
People have told me I look "YOUNGER". Always a bonus. Right?

CONS

- If you have any microscopic cuts or abrasions,
(such as from over active exfoliating) yes, this will sting.

- PRICEY! I don't think I could live without this product. I'm HOOKED!

Have you tried this product?

Clinque Dramatically Different Lotion REVIEW

I often wondered as a child why my mom kept blotting her nose with that red sponge. She explained it was to remove the shine. I didn't get it until I turned 37.
After having children, my skin changed so much. Prior to that my skin had been super duper dry! Now, I'm oily on the nose mainly, but dry on the cheeks.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

The moisture “drink” developed by Clinique’s dermatologists to maintain optimal moisture balance for very dry skins, or skins dry in the cheeks, comfortable to oily in the T-zone. Softens, smooths, improves.

I bought the 3 step set from the CCO in February. I was really impressed by this lotion. It feels so good on my combination skin. It adequately moisturizes my dry areas without leaving my nose feeling too oily. My skin kind of drinks it up, literally as Clinique says.

If you don't want to spend $24.00 on the big bottle, please consider buying a smaller one. If you have combination skin, you won't be sorry.

Seabreeze Naturals and Boots No.7 Review

Update!
This stuff is WACK! I should have tried it out for a longer period of time before doing a review.

It ended up breaking me out.
The only thing that I am able to use without problems is the Boots No. 7 & the SeaBreeze Toner. The other 2 SeaBreeze products are worthless to me.
