While I did not invest in the MAC 134, I did get the coastal scents dupe & I am very impressed by the quality of the brush. While I cannot compare the 2, I can say with no uncertainty that the cs brush suits my needs. I use it to highlight my face. LOVE IT!

This is a STEAL for $19.99. Many MakeupArtists have chucked higher end brushes in exchange for Sonia Kashuk's Brushes. I missed out on these last year. Last year's version were curvy like her everyday line. Sexier IMHO! I'll take what I can get. LOL

Ok, so the debate rages on. DieHard MAC Addicts have compared the MAC normal product line brushes to the SE ones & determined that the quality is NOT the same. The SE brushes are mass produced vs. HANDMADE for the normal product line. I'd still love to get my hands on all 3 sets. They're just $35 per set @ Nordstrom. UGH! I wish I had a wealthy benefactor to bankroll my makeup obsession. LOL I still think this would be a terrific way to familiarize myself w/ the MAC brushes until I can actually AFFORD to stomp w/ the big dogs & buy the everyday brushes individually. Can a Woman have Too Many Makeup Brushes?

This was the 1st brush set I ever purchased. I got it from www.cosmeticchic.com.
I paid about $42 US for it. I was oblivious to the currency conversion. I thought I was paying HongKong Dollars which would have made it about $7.50. LOL Good thing I didn't order for friends like I'd planned to. I'm happy with the set. I don't have anything better with which to compare it. I would however LOVE to upgrade to a finer quality set.

A year later, & despite many many washes, the face brushes are still leaking dye. ugh. I am in LOVE w/ the smallest eyeshadow brushes. Several of them have grown legs. Hoping they were not a part of any of my children's craft projects. LOL
