Eye Shadow Palette - Holds 10
What it is:
A customizable palette that can hold ten eyeshadows or blushes.

What it does:
This customizable palette is portable so that you can have your "perfect 10" with you at all times. Its hard cover protects the shadows from breaking, and its slim case makes it easy to transport. All you have to do is pick your favorite shadow and blushes and pop them into the well and go!

What else you need to know:
MAKE UP FOR EVER Eye Shadows, Diamond Eye Shadows, and Powder Blush fit in the palette.

Of course, the buzz about this got out & now Sephora is showing the palette as
"temporarily out of stock" grrrrr

I was all set to buy this. While it is a sneaky way to get us to buy 10 shadows, it's an awesome deal. I'll be checking the website DAILY for them to return to stock. Yes, I did taked advantage of their "email me when available" feature, but I'm not taking ANY chances.

Silver/Gray Smokey Eyes & Vampy Dark Lips

This look is "On Trend" for Fall 2009.

I entered a contest on YouTube. The challenge was to create a makeup look based on a cartoon or comic book character. Generally, I'm conservative, so this was a leap for me.

COLORS!

With Back To School season looming on the horizon, I'm taken back to a time when I was so excited to own a 64 box of Crayola crayons. When I was a child, this was the largest size. It symbolized so much to me. The possibilities were endless. I loved the names of the crayons. Even to this day, I describe color based on that 64 box.
Burnt Sienna anyone?

I think I get more excited about shopping for school supplies for my children then they do. That was a part of why I was so excited to finally acquire the 88 palette a few months back. I recently blogged that I was becoming disenchanted with my 88 palette because the colors seemed to fade quickly no matter what kind of base I used.
I've recently come to learn that is the nature of matte shadow. Ahhhhh YES! This sparked a renewed interest in my 88 palette once again. It was sitting in a drawer, unused. I do have so much makeup, I often forget that the 88 palette is hiding out patiently waiting for me to dive in & use it!

The palette comes with a small miroor in the lid. It also has two double ended sponge tip applicators. My favorite colors are the greens, darker pinks, teals & vibrant/darker blues. Many of the soft pastel colors do not show up on my skin.
(NC43)

I decided to challenge myself to use it at least once a week.
No sense in it's going to waste, right?
