I was thrilled to have seen these cuties on sale during an impromptu visit to
my local Ashley Stewart.
The redline clearance is 50% off the hardmarked price. I was able to snag these for $23.99.
Often I see such styles at my local Bare Feet Shoes. However I do not buy them because they do not carry wide. The shoe SNOB in me tends to stay away from shoes that do not come in a box. Let alone shoes that are clipped to a peg. But I figured I would indulge myself this time for the sake of fashion. Shoe lovers can justify any new shoe purchase.
I elected to get size 11 as my heels jut out in the back like Foghorn Leghorn. I did not my normal size ten would cut the mustard.
I cannot wait to wear these. I'm not sure where I will wear them, but I will.
I should go back and buy them in red.
You may still be able to purchase the black pair from the website. However the price will not be as good as in store.
Which pair do you like better?
Would you wear these shoes?

Funky Leopard Pumps
I love animal print. I'm not one of those ladies who would wear a ton of it all at once. I would add just one item of animal print with an outfit to give it some flavor.
I tried on these shoes today.
Ashby Calf Hair High Heel.
The heel is not too high at 3 1/2".
Features:
•Breathable leather sockliner
•Cushion-comfort footbed
•Non-slip suede heel counter
•Refined leather outsole
They are very well crafted. However they do not come in wide. I would prefer a wider shoe. The only way I can see myself wearing these is if I cut off my baby toe. That's not going to happen. What do you think of these shoes.
I'm on the hunt for a comparable replacement that comes in a wide width.
These can be purchased at http://www.landsend.com for $120.00.
They come in sizes 6.5 to 10. They can currently be purchased in Lands' End shops in Sears.
They are 25% off until Tuesday 8/28/12.

Funky Metallic Boots
These are a few years old.
I got them from MACY's.
They are leather mid-calf boots.
I bought the silver pair first and called around to see who had the gold ones.
I took a 2 hour bus ride to get them.
They were on sale for $30 after-all! .
Pointy toes make them 2 hour shoes. Yes, I'll need a ride wherever we are going.
I hope I can sit down for most of the time while we are there.
The things we do for beauty! *laughing*
As stored with sequined handbags underneath in my Joy Mangano Stackable Drawer.
I took a break from shoes and boots for about five years. The past two years, I have focused on practical and comfortable shoes.
I need to step up my game again.

Checking for Lou-Bous!
As a CERTIFIABLE "shoe freak" I could not HELP but notice Kim's shoes on the previews for this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Am I the only one who does this?
Ok, so I too FLIPPED when I heard that Christian Louboutin said that Barbie had "CANKLES". Say what? It still doesn't keep me from wanting a couple of pairs of the shoes.
