On my MAC NC50 complexion, Luminous barely shows.
I think it makes a pretty highlight.
I prefer the matte mineral powder formulations.
They are highly pigmented. When I set them with transparent powder, and Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix, they last longer than if I used nothing. The general consensus is they last about three hours when worn alone. I need to play with the newer additions to my collection to get a true estimate of staying power. Generally I use a cream base first for all of my powders.
I have just one more color to add to my collection for it to be complete, Sweet Rose.

Shrek Inspired - Nails Of The Day - Sinful Colors Show Me The Way and Milani Green Glow

I rocked a green peasant jersey knit top today with my peacock feather earrings & of course, peacock colors on my lids & nude lips. Although green is my all time favorite color, I was a little hesitant about wearing these colors. I draw the line at green polish on the toes though. Right away I think "FUNGUS".

I used my standard procedure...
Base Coat
3 coats of color
Top Coat

I found the Sinful Colors Show Me The Way to be a bit flakey, especially if I did not wait long enough between coats. This is tricky because I am sometimes impatient.

The Milani Green Glow was more sheer than I anticipated. Even with 3 coats, I could still see the VNL (visible nail line). GRRRRR

Apply thin light strokes of Nail Art Lacquer, let dry between application, choose as many shades to create a more elaborate design, let dry then apply Milani top coat for a finished look. Milani Single Eyeshadows

I LOVE Milani single eyeshadows. I bought my first one several years ago on a clearance rack in Walgreens. Garden Mist. I was in LOVE, but I had NO IDEA what I had! After having been taught by many of the gurus on YouTube, great inexpensive MAC dupes, I had to go out & purchase more of these fabulous eyeshadows.

Intensely pigmented eye shadows that leave an incredible deposit of color on lids. Glides on silky-smooth, blends effortlessly and resists fading and creasing.
